Nick Park announced today that Wallace and Gromit are making a return! It will be a half hour piece similar to "The Wrong Trousers" and "A Close Shave", etc.
It's called "Trouble At' Mill" and will be shown on the BBC. They are in pre-production right now and will come out fall/Christmas 08. will join multi-award winning "The Wrong Trousers" and "A Close Shave" as a TV half hour.
In the film, Wallace and Gromit have a brand new business as a bakery. He and Gromit have remade their home and everything is covered in flour. Twelve local bakers have gone missing, but Wallace is too in love and "dough-eyed" with Piella Bakewell (Sounds almost like a Bond Girl) to notice.
Gromit of course, must "rise" to the occasion and solve the mystery since Wallace is, as usual, "loafing" around.
