Justice League Movie Casting News

Adam Brody (In the Land of Women, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, "The O.C.") will play The Flash / Wally West.
Rapper Common (Smokin’ Aces, American Gangster, Wanted) will play Green Lantern / John Stewart.
Scott Porter (Music & Lyrics, Speed Racer, TV's "Friday Night Lights") will play Superman / Clark Kent.
Teresa Palmer (The Grudge 2, December Boys) will play Talia Al Ghul, the daughter of Ra's Al Ghul.

The first casting of the upcoming Justice League movie has been released. I didn't have much interest in the film before, and I have even less now. I think this has the potential to be bloated with all the characters and they still haven't announced characters like Aquaman and Martian ManHunter. The average audience member knows Batman and Superman, but add in these other characters, a script that was pushed to be completed before the writer's strike, and now a rush to complete the film before the actors and directors likely strike in summer next year...all that adds to a potential bomb. I don't like how young the cast is, and at least to me, the actors don't look much like the characters they are going to play. Add in that next summer Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight" a sequel to "Batman Begins" with Christian Bale, Heath Ledger and the problems for "Justice League" are even worse. What do you think?
