Pumpkins 2008 Edition

Here are some quick shots of our Halloween pumpkins this year.

The University of Utah is 8-0 in football and ranks 11th in the BCS polls.  GO UTES!

This was supposed to be the dragon from Sleeping Beauty, but I messed up the snout, so it's less scary and more cartoony.  Did I really just say a animated character is too cartoony?

Lisa carved the mouse from Cinderella.

This was supposed to be Cinderella, but I think it looks more like a cross between Daphne from "Scooby Doo" and Sarah Palin.

Coolest Halloween costume ever

A few days ago, I listed the worst Halloween costumes ever. (Michael Jackson and Burger King masks)

Well, I wanted to be more positive, so here is the greatest Halloween costume ever. It's sick and wrong, but oh so very right. It's an "Alien" chest burster costume for baby! The look on the kid's face is priceless!



Maybe it's because I would be tempted to do something like this, that God/The Universe hasn't blessed my wife and I with any children yet.

Halloween costumes for your pets

I never really understood people who dress up their pets at Halloween, or really any other time of the year. However...if I had a female dog, I would be seriously tempted to buy the Princess Leia Slave Costume.
