Green Lantern Trailer
I was never a fan of Green Lantern as a character. A man that can use his jewelry to make anything he can think of? No thanks. The trailer looks ok, but I'm still not sold.

Awful trailer for "New Moon" is out
I have to admit that I have never read any of the Twilight books and never saw the first film, but I think I can safely say this trailer is awful. From the wooden acting that would make George Lucas proud, to the terrible CGI at the end, this just doesn't do anything for me. Of course, I am not a 14 year old teenage girl, and it will make more money in the opening weekend than I will ever make in my entire life, but I'm not bitter that stuff like this gets greenlit.

For my 700th post - I give you the best, worst movie in the world
I have a soft spot in my heart for bad movies. Like REALLY bad movies. Movies so bad that your brain melts like a Nazi gazing into the Ark of the Covenant. Movies like "Nice Girls Don't Explode" and "Shark Attack 3". Movies that a group of friends create their own MST3K of it. Movies that make you hate yourself in the morning and no amount of soap will make the guilt of liking that movie go away. Movies where Deborah Gibson and Lorenzo Lamas star, and a shark leaps out of the ocean to eat a 747 jet while in flight. Movies like "Mega Shark Vs. Giant Octopus" Who wants to come over to my house, eat "TGI Friday's" chips, cheap pizza, cold soda and enjoy?

New Wall-E Trailer
The film I am most excited about seeing this summer is definitely The Dark Knight (as the few loyal readers of my blog know), but Wall-E, already a close second, is gaining in momentum. Check out the new trailer and let me know what you think!

New Dark Knight Trailer Description
The new Dark Knight trailer was shown today at Comic Con in New York today. The trailer is said to be coming out with Iron Man. As if that movie wasn't going to make a ton of money by itself. The description sounds amazing. I can't wait to see the film. From MTV's Movie Blog
Batman has more to deal with than just the Joker in this summer’s “The Dark Knight,” and now thanks to a top secret new trailer for the film that just screened at NY Comic Con, we’ve gotten our first extended look at his friend and eventual rival, Harvey “Two-Face” Dent.
The brand-new “Dark Knight” trailer was shown to a flabbergasted audience here in New York (Warner Bros. had not announced any plans to show any footage) and though we only got a chance to see it once, there’s an awful lot to chew on in this new glimpse.
- After a breathtaking shot of Batman perched high above Gotham, a voiceover from Heath Ledger’s Joker asks “Where do we begin?” Batman glides through the city.
- “Kill the Batman,” the Joker states to an adjoined meeting of mob bosses, before an explosion is shown and the subsequent showing of a Joker card. This seemingly gels with the suspicion that the Joker is controlling the mob through ransom (after robbing the mob-run bank in the IMAX preview).
- After several shots of Harvey Dent in District Attorney mode, we finally get everyone together as the Joker invades a fancy bash with Bruce Wayne (Christopher Nolan), Alfred (Michael Caine), Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) and Rachel Dawes (Maggie Gyllenhaal). Sadly, the scene wasn’t topped off by the Penguin crashing through the floor on a giant duck.
- “The dawn is coming” says Dent in a voiceover.
- The Joker mutters “Here we go” before walking down a city street blowing stuff up in one particularly awesome scene.
- In one of the most foreboding moments of the trailer, Dent emphatically states “You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.” Harvey Dent, of course, backwardly referencing his future transformation into super-villain “Two-Face.”
- Our eyes may have been playing tricks on us, but it certainly looked like the Joker drops Dawes at some point. The length of said drop is uncertain.
We’ll all know more when the trailer officially hits in two weeks. The clock starts now.

Standard Operating Procedure Trailer
Errol Morris examines the incidents of abuse and torture of suspected terrorists at the hands of U.S. forces at the Abu Ghraib prison. He is one of the best documentary filmmakers of all time, and I can't wait until this comes to Salt Lake City.

Will Ferrell is a guilty pleasure, and though Semi-Pro isn't interesting me, I have to say I laughed out loud in a few places at this trailer.

New Trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's 'The Happening'
I really hate M. Night Shamalamadingdong's movies. His movies are slow, plodding, predictable and he writes some of the worst dialogue this side of George Lucas. This one doesn't appear to be any different.
