How many Elvis can sing on the head of a pin?



Willard Wigen is an artist in Birmingham, England. He makes microscopic art out of dust particles, sugar crystals, etc. The exhibit consists of microscopes around the room so people can actually see his art. You can see more of his work here:

Nikon's Small World Contest Results

Though I much prefer Cannon Cameras to Nikon, I have to give them credit for this amazing contest. It's to recognize amazing photography shot through a microscope.


This photo by Gloria Kwonis a mouse embryo at 18.5 days, and won this year's grand prize.


This photo is the Coiled radula of Patella vulgaris (mollusk)
